Mindolluin
The White Tree
Gandalf leads Aragorn up the slopes of Mount Mindolluin above Minas Tirith. In a high hallow of snow they find a sapling of the White Tree, descended from Nimloth of Númenor and ultimately from Telperion, the eldest of Trees. Aragorn plants it in the Court of the Fountain, where it flowers — a sign that his kingdom will endure.
