Sea of Núrnen
The Slave Lands
An inland sea in southern Mordor, fed by rivers flowing down from the Ephel Dúath and Ash Mountains. The fertile lands of Nurn surrounding it were tended by vast armies of slaves who grew food to feed Sauron's war machine. After the fall of Barad-dûr, King Elessar freed the slaves and granted them the lands of Nurn as their own.
