Dam on the River Isen
The Ents broke the great dam on the River Isen during their assault on Isengard, unleashing the waters into the Ring of Isengard and flooding Saruman’s underground armouries, furnaces, and war machinery. The deluge drowned his forces and rendered the fortress useless, trapping the wizard in the tower of Orthanc.
