Tol Morwen
The Gravestone Isle
The smallest of the island remnants of Beleriand. In the First Age, Túrin Turambar and his mother Morwen were buried together beneath a great stone on the mound of the slain near the ruined halls of Nargothrond. When Beleriand was drowned in the War of Wrath, the gravestone alone stood above the waves — an island bearing the names of Túrin and Nienor, a last testament to the tragic children of Húrin.
