The Tower Hills (Emyn Beraid) stood between the Shire and the Grey Havens, crowned by the tall white tower of Elostirion. It housed one of the three Palantíri given to the North-kingdom — but unlike the others, this stone looked only west, toward the Undying Lands across the sea. It was kept by the Elves of Lindon and taken aboard the last ship from the Grey Havens.
