Dorwinion
Land of Wines
A wine-producing region on the northwestern shores of the Sea of Rhûn, Dorwinion was famed for its heady vintages. Barrels of Dorwinion wine were shipped to Thranduil's Halls in Mirkwood — and it was these potent wines that made the Elven-king's guards fall asleep, allowing Bilbo to engineer the Dwarves' escape in barrels.
