Linhir
Battle at the Gilrain Crossing
A town in Lebennin at the crossing of the River Gilrain. During the War of the Ring, the Corsairs of Umbar and their Haradrim allies advanced inland and fought a battle here, overwhelming the local defenders. Aragorn arrived with the Grey Company and the Army of the Dead, whose terrifying presence routed the enemy. From Linhir, Aragorn pressed on south to seize the Corsair fleet at Pelargir.
