Aragorn leads the Dead south from Erech to the ancient port of Pelargir, where the Corsairs of Umbar have anchored their fleet. The Dead sweep through the Corsairs in terror, and Aragorn seizes the ships. He releases the Dead Men from their oath, and they vanish at last. Aragorn then mans the ships with Rangers, men of Lebennin and Lamedon, and sails up the Anduin to the Pelennor Fields.
